Who has this worked with?

Just some of the students' stories

In 2024, H. was looking for voice lessons so that she could audition for a local community choir. After the audition, she continued with lessons because she started learning more things about her voice that helped her perform in choir. The expanded concepts of singing helped her discover her voice in an intimate way so that, by applying it in her choral rep, she could sing the soprano lines with less tension and with better tone and tuning.

After taking lessons from a different teacher for a year or so, J was referred to Rose for lessons as a change of pace. She was struggling with tensions that were not being addressed in her previous lessons, so she sought out someone who could be less repertoire-driven and more focused on meeting her where she was at vocal health-wise. After only the consultation and one following lesson with Rose, J had already discovered the journey her voice will need to take to unleash the tensions directly related to her and her past, including finding the release so that her voice can expand comfortably outside the range she thought she was limited to.

K.T. had come to Rose for voice lessons since she hadn't any vocal experience outside of her choral background. As a violist, her musical background helped her learn repertoire eagerly, and then Rose guided her into releasing her voice so that it soared in a free and open sound, like an angel, and her vocal confidence grew.

G.R. joined Rose's studio seeking help with her vocal tuning. She felt that she couldn't match pitch but had a desire to sing and learn her voice. Through Rose's approach with the full-body singing, G.R. not only learned how to release her voice and match pitch, but she also learned to sing songs with ease and emotion, finding that she truly had a voice to use and it was valued.

These are only some of the unique stories who have entered the studio.
